You always have a choice,
even when you think
you don’t have a choice

What to expect from the free discovery call

In the discovery call we try to see if we are a good fit and clarify how do you feel about your current challenges and what is the outcome that you want to accomplish. Quite a few times the client is confused about what they are feeling and/or what they want and the clarity call helps them get the clarity they need.

The entire process of coaching or therapy is like using a cab service to reach your destination. How you feel about your current challenges is your pickup point, knowing the kind of life you want is the destination. And identiying the your blocks is like asking you which way suits you the most for reaching the destination. This part is crucial, you are a unique individual who needs to be understood and the path taken should be in complete alignment to the person you are.

Note: We can bring changes in you so that you can have the life you want. Any change that is expected in others won’t be possible.

No Advice. No Judgement. You know yourself better than anyone.

The Process : Resolving the unknown conflict

Usually the client is not able to do something they want to do and they have tried everything. Somewhere their is emotional resistance to the desired change. For example Someone wants to wake up early in the morning but when the alarm goes off the person turns it off and goes back to sleep one version wants to sleep and the other version wants to wake up. But all the verson of the client want to wake up then the client wakes up easily.

The dysfunction in clients life whether its not having right relationships with people, food, body or any area of life stems from unconscious emotional conflicts that needs to be resolved.

Dysfunction is just a symptom of the deeper issue and using CBT and Hypnosis we resolve that issue to get the life you want

How is therapy different from coaching?

Therapy is wider in its scope as it deals with intense negative emotions and may take longer to explore what you truly need as recovery in itself is a long process . As it deals with deeper intense negative emotions such as trauma, self hate, grief, guilt etc. But this doesn’t mean you need frequent sessions, there is scope of having longer gaps between sessions if that is more convenient or required for you.

The reason why at times therapy takes time is not the lack of insight or intellectual understanding but bodies need to feel safe and secure to open up to the wounds that we are scared to face. Healing or recovery needs patience and compassion from both client and the therapist. These issues can be low self esteem, self hate, loneliness, trauma, repeatedly getting into toxic relationships etc

Aspects of therapy and coaching are used interchangeably as and when required.

Why friends and family can’t replace therapy?

Friends and family lack the evidence based clear structure that help you pinpoint the issue and resolve it in a step by step procedure.

For most of us, when we need to express ourselves and share our difficulties we have a legitimate fear of being judged. Most people we know, interrupt us or advise us when we truly want to be heard and understood i.e. have a safe space to process the situation at hand better Friends and family lack the evidence based clear structure that help you pinpoint the issue and resolve it.

At times we are in a rushed into a solution as the other person is giving their advice and opinion or worse we are judged for being who we are making us feel something is not ok with the situation or with us. We have a deep need to be accepted the way we are without needing to be in a certain way.

We flourish when we are accepted the way we are and our autonomy, freedom is valued.  Which is a clear expression of respect and acceptance.

You are asked questions which would help you find clarity. In a way that gives you complete freedom to choose without any influence from the therapist.

There are many activities, tools and techniques which a therapist uses in which he has been trained.

A therapist is trained to not project their own issues onto the client as the therapist himself requires to resolve their issues by taking regular therapy. As a therapist gets his safe space when needed he has no urge to interrupt and has the capacity to provide safe space to the client

Obviously there is the lot more to therapy and this is an attempt to simplify the fundamentals of the process
